PlanForward 2050 Comprehensive Plan

PlanForward is the Lincoln-Lancaster County 2050 Comprehensive Plan. The Plan embodies Lincoln and Lancaster County's shared vision for the future, out to the year 2050. The Lincoln-Lancaster County 2050 Comprehensive Plan is a roadmap to “plan forward,” not only in time, but in concept, to envision a community that is Thriving, Livable, Equitable, Innovative, and Resilient. These five themes are found throughout the new Plan and build the long range vision for our One Community.


Not In My Neighborhood

A paper by Keith Ihlanfeldt from the Department of Economics and DeVoe Moore Center at Florida State University. Published in May of 2019. It discusses the detrimental effects of residential rentals on single-family home values.

Oregon essentially bans single-family house zoning.

An article presented by NPR describes that the Oregon legislature in 2019 updated their laws to add “missing middle housing” into existing neighborhoods. Potentially banning single-family house zoning.
