We are a set of twin sisters, and independent researchers, who created this website to help explain and inform Lincoln residents about the current Housing Issue. Our research is not paid or sponsored by anyone. Voluntarily, and for the love of researching, we have worked for the last six months looking into our local housing market.
How it all started: seeing a house in our area that sold for $1.5 million dollars. This house was not worth that. It was on an alley, only 793 sqft. and a small lot. Intrigued we had to learn more and stumbled onto a rabbit hole of more information.
You might think the housing issue is that there is a lack of houses, however this is not true. After noticing suspicioius activity of single-family houses being sold for MILLIONS and up to 20 sold all at once. This was our first clue to corporations taking over our neighborhoods.
